Ein Fest bei König Laurin
In my possession is the autograph full score of the work "Ein Fest bei König Laurin" for orchestra by Siegfried Krug. The work was composed in 1938 and obviously submitted to a composition competition of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden. The title page does not show the composer name but a code word. And later Herbert Kaeferstein - pianist at the Staatsoper - penned down his name and the name Siegfried Krug in his hand below the composition title. Therefore is no information traceable of this composition in newspapers or archives and it seems likely that the work did not win in the competition.
