Gaston Dubreuilh

Gaston Dubreuilh was born in 1860. There is no biographical information about his youth and study times. Later he became a music critic for several newspapers like Le Menestrel, La Plume or Excelsior. He also composed songs of which some were published by Durand, Enoch or Leon Grus. Gaston Dubreuilh died on 3 February 1940 in Nantes (France).

In my possession is an autograph manuscript of the song "Le vagabond" by Gaston Dubreuilh. The work is scored for voice and piano and sets a poem by Gabriel Montoya to music.
