Hector Fraggi

Hector Fraggi was born on 25 Oktober 1882 in Marseille (France). He studied music in Paris and worked there as a pianist, composer and music critic for some time. It seems that he returned to Marseille in the early 1920s. His opera "A quoi revent les jeunes filles" became a success in 1927. In 1935 he was awarded the Grand Prix Musical de Provence.
Hector Fraggi died on 9 Oktober 1944 in Paris (France).

In my possession is the autograph manuscript of the song "Oh, revenez, revenez!" for voice and piano by Hector Fraggi. The work was composed in 1924 and my manuscript is dedicated to composer and pianist Marie-Rose Clouzot at the end.

From the newspaper "Le petit provencal" on 16 December 1935 with Hector Fraggi on the very left.
